Currently in Jerome boarding kennels

PAULA was found stray in early July and despite posting for her owners, they never came.

She appears to be about 1 to 2 years old and maybe a blend of Akbash/Great Pyrenees. She should be good with kids and dogs, but cats unknown.

We had our volunteer dog trainer assess PAULA recently and learned quite a bit...

She is a DREAM on leash when using a prong collar. She knows sit and come. She loves to snuggle and kiss...especially kids.

The trainer saw no indication of a chase or prey drive, so introducing to small animals is a possibility.

We are looking for a home with a nice big yard and with a family that includes someone who knows the breed, as she is naturally strong and stubborn.

PAULA has her health vaccine and will be spayed and given her rabies vaccine and microchip soon.
