My story

Kimber came to us as a surrender, when her family was not able to take care of her. Kimber was born with toe abnormalities- her toes look very funny, she walks slightly different, but has no pain.
The vet says she is doing perfect, and has nothing to worry about!

Kimber agrees - she loves life in her foster home. Kimber is an older puppy - she is still very curious, silly and playful - but is also already crate and potty trained! She even knows some tricks!

Kimber loves all humans and dogs she meets. She would fit most households! We require an adult dog in the household for all puppy adoptions.

Included in the adoption fee of $275 is a clean bill of health, up to date vaccines and dewormer, microchip and spay surgery at our vet post adoption.

Why adoption is a great option

Kimber, a Detroit Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
