hi friends! I'm Sloan. My friends call me "Sloany Baloney" haha I'm a handsome, playful and smart bindle pitbull terrier about about 6 years old. I had a pretty rough start at life unfortunately ... when I was rescued, I had swelling/wound on the side of my head from being hit very hard and I was stabbed on the back of my neck so I had deep gashes where I was attacked. Because of this I will forever have a large knot on my neck but I'm totally healed and getting lots of love while we search for my forever family --- these nice people promised me I will never be hurt again and I'm so thankful for that.

A little about me ... I LOVE going on long walks and playing tug-of-war and running around the yard. Oh, and my FAVORITE thing to do is the SWIMMING POOL! I'm a total water dog. I'm looking for an active home who will give me lots of love and attention and structure. I'm great with humans and because I play hard older kiddos are best for me. And ideally I'm the only pet in the house so I have your full attention (so no other dogs or kitties please.)
