My story

Laser was spotted being dumped out of a vehicle. Blind, and with advanced heartworm, he fell over in the middle of the road. We were called and rushed him to the vet.

Laser has a complicated medical situation that which is mainly resolved. Despite his disabilities, he is a very easy dog to care for. Laser is brave, and maneuvers great without sight. He has had both eyes surgically removed.

He is crate and potty trained. Laser enjoys yard time, and feels safe in his own company. He loves being pet, playing with toys, and going for car rides.

Laser is sometimes curious about other animals, but needs to be the only animal in his household, or kept fullt separate, for example in a spare bedroom.

Why adoption is a great option

Laser, a Detroit Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
