My story

Name: Tory

Age: Puppy
Sex: Male
Size: Medium/Large when fully grown (best guess)

If long legs and brains are what you are looking for, Tory my be your guy! This guy arrived to Minnesota and is doing fantastic in his foster home. He is sweet, funny and fairly laid back. He loves playing with his foster siblings and does well with both cats and dogs. He doesn’t have human kids in his foster home but he has met some and really likes them also. He is a well socialized pup. He is still a puppy so expect all the puppy shenanigans- he will need to go outside every couple hours for potty training (yes even at night), he is doing well in his crate but will need continued crate and basic obedience training just like any other pup. We do require that all puppies also get signed up for obedience class prior to taking them home. Tory is in a foster home and can be met once an approved application is submitted.

Requirements: Training sign up required

Adoption Fee: $550 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 8 months of age, deworming, microchip and current Heartgard and Nexgard preventatives.

Why adoption is a great option

Tory, a Minneapolis Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mountain Cur for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mountain Cur breeders who help with Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
