Pepper is all things good about a puppy... He is happy go lucky, playful, snuggly, and absolutely adorable. He and his brother Woody were picked up by animal control with their mom Ginger, but their owner never came to get them. We are thankful because we will see to it that this adorable little boy gets the best home like he deserves.

He is approximately 8 to 9 weeks old on Aug 1st and unlike his brother we think Pepper must look like his daddy which is a mystery. The one thing we do know though is he a cutie pie with a great personality so don't delay applying to meet him.

Like all puppies, Pepper needs an adopter who is willing to train and work with him to help him be the best dog he can be.

If you would like to meet Pepper, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application.

Why adoption is a great option

Pepper, a Colleyville Collie/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Colleyville, or seeking a Collie/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Colleyville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colleyville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colleyville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Collie/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colleyville paves the way for another one to be saved.
