1/2 month old, appx 55 pound, Australian Shepard, Labrador mix. Her
beautiful eyes are a light golden brown and are beautifully lined. She is
on the shy side until she gets to know you. She is looking for a new home
where she can be the pampered and spoiled pooch, she was meant to be. Her
current family is not up to the task of raising a puppy. Kayla would be
fine as an only dog with your constant companionship though she plays
beautifully with other dogs. Her sibling is Rocky. PLEASE get her LOTS of
toys! Kong type that are hard to destroy are ideal! Kayla loves to chew! She
is loving and wants to be your snuggle partner. Kayla knows the commands:
Come, Sit and Stay. She is well mannered and loves to be wherever you are.
Kayla walks well om leash and rides well in the car. She will need some
obedience training. She is house broken and will paw at the door to be let
out. Kayla will need a securely fenced yard. Kayla is spayed,
micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. She is waiting for her forever
home. She has been around kids 7 and older and a feral cat. She will be a
wonderful companion, remember it does take time for dogs to adjust to new

What is included

In adoption fee for dogs

Spayed or neutered.



Nobivac Canine 1-DAPPv – Vaccination against canine distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. (3 to 4 depending on how long we have them)



Rabies vaccination (if old enough).



De-wormed, Front-lined and Micro-chipped.



A free baby-well exam certificate that most vets will honor.



One week of dry dog or cat food.



One toy and one blanket.

1. When you apply please always use the same email address. If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it.



2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why)

a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response.

b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get.

c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to.
