My story

Yosemite loves to cuddle and purrs every time, non stop whenever he sees or greets you. He is such a love bug, he definitely loves being cuddled, and enjoys spending his day playing with his brothers and sisters. He gets along well with both dogs and other cats. Yosemite is confident as he runs around the house, his favorite game being chasing the balls around the house. Yosemite would love to be your personal singer with all his beautiful songs…… Come and meet him!

Kittens adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv/FIV and they are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Kitten adoption donations are $150, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com to submit an application.

Why adoption is a great option

Yosemite, a Winchester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
