Bunny is the cutest kitten ever with the glossiest coat!. She was found as a tiny kitten under a car. We took her into our rescue and named her Bunny because she hops like a bunny....partly due to a little deformity. One of her back paws is missing! Our vet believes this is a birth defect and she does have a little pad where her toes would have been. We think it makes her even more adorable...if that is even possible!. She is negative on her FIV/FELV test and has begun her series of vaccinations. She will be spayed prior to adoption. See below for our adoption protocol.
Save A Kitty, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) kitty rescue. Our adoption process is as follows: We require a completed application, a home check, and an adoption fee (with the amount depending upon the kitty). We will also discount the adoption fee, if an individual adopts 2 kitties at the same time. All of our kitties have been quarantined for a minimum of 15 days, had their shots, been tested for FIV/FELV, given parasite treatment, and will be spayed/neutered before being placed into their forever home.

We have an adoption fee that ranges from $125 to $200 depending upon the kitty, which helps us with some of the medical costs to ready our kittens for adoption (including testing for FIV/FELV, spaying/neutering, shots, deworming, and flea treatment). If 2 cats are being adopted, we will sometimes reduce the fee. Even if we do a home check, that does not constitute an adoption.

We rescue from the streets, or bail from city shelters.We are active in trap/neuter/return and are trying to do our best to help reduce the number of unwanted births. We have a network of foster volunteers who care for our babies in a home environment. Our kitties are loved and cared for and will remain in our care until they find their forever homes, and if that is with us. so be it. We do what we do because we feel that all life is equal, a kitten with no home deserves to be loved and nurtured no less than any other being.
