My story

Meet Loki-Diamond in the rough
Loki and Squeaky are the most recent rescues from the hoarder case. They have only been here about a week. Loki has been in a house without people for all of his little life so he doesn't know what people are! Loki is maybe 10 weeks old and because of his lack of interaction with humans, he needs confined to a smaller space so he can learn that people are good and food comes from us and hugs and kisses come from us. Loki would not be good for kids at this time because people are new to him. I need to find someone with kitty experience who has patience and will work with him. He has great potential and with the right family, will be an awesome, handsome cat. HE LOVES CATS OF COURSE because that is pretty much all he has know for his 10 weeks of life!

So, how did I come to look for a match on petfinder to adopt me? Well, I was rescued out of a hoarding situation (that's human talk). There are about 30 or 40 cats in the house and a bunch of kittens that this guy had no idea where we lived or how many of us existed. Long story short, Squeaky and I were trapped and spay/neutered. The rescue just couldn't send us back to where we were born, so they took us to this awesome place and we were given all the food, toys, and litter boxes that we ever dreamed of. It is like Christmas everyday! At first they kept us in a small pop up tent so they could move us around the house to get used to all the new sights and sounds. Then, when I would STOP running away from them, they let me have run of the house! That was way cool!

My foster mom says that there are people out there that would love to adopt a kitten like me. She said that I am so adorable (whatever that means) and she said all of us kittens have perfect litter box manners. She is going to find a match for me and one of my buddies that came from the same place because everyone knows that 2 kittens are better than one.

I would like you to adopt one of my friends because then I have someone to wrestle with. And then, when you go shopping or leave the house, I have a friend to play with so I don't get into trouble.

Please, send an email to and they will send you an email application. An adoption fee will apply.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit (501 (c)(3), group of foster family volunteers who strive to provide assistance for highly adoptable, unwanted, lost and neglected animals by providing humane education, veterinary care, animal rescue and by actively encouraging pet population control through spay and neuter. Once we take in a pet that has been surrendered, they go to a foster home to wait for their forever family. They live with our families, our pets, and our children. All of our pets are spayed or neutered before adoption or have such certificate to get it done for free. We also start immunizations on puppies and kittens at 8 weeks. We deworm, deflea, and treat for ear mites. We also Fel Leuk/FIV blood test our kitties and Heartworm test our dogs. All of our cats and kittens must be adopted as strictly indoor. All of our dogs and puppies must be adopted as a *housedog only and we do require a secure fenced in yard. No chains or outdoor kennels allowed. We do rescue work with pets because we value life. As humans we domesticated cats and dogs and our society needs to take ownership to treat them with respect. We also see a need to teach people the proper handling of pets and the value of spay/neuter. Pet ownership is a privilege and a life long commitment.
