My story

Adoption Fee: $175, plus taxes
Location: Foster Home

Midnight is a sweet, adventurous kitty who loves his pets. He likes to play, climb, and explore! As he acclimates to his surroundings and people, he loves to rub against your legs and get some attention.

We feel that Midnight would benefit from being in a home with another cat. He seems to trust and watch what his foster brother does and learns from him! He does take a while to warm up to you, but once he does, it is so rewarding. Midnight loves to explore and watch what's going on outside. He'll chirp and meow a bit to let you know where he's at.

If you have a space in your home for a quiet companion like Midnight, please complete an application for him on the CSHS website.

Go meet their pets

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue

Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved. In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place. CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
