My story

Full of puppy love, snuggles, fun, and adventure for you! These adorable puppies are 10 week old Labrador mixes that were found dumped. They are very playful, affectionate, and like giving puppy kisses. A yard to run and play would be great exercise as these sweeties grow to adulthood. The pups are eager to find their forever home and get started living their best life. Show them that a family is forever!

The adoption fee is $100.00 per puppy and this includes sterilization at 6 months, shots, and worming with an optional microchipping and registration for an additional $20.00. We have a dog park to check compatibility with existing dogs. Fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com. If your application is approved, a volunteer will contact you to set up a meet and greet appointment. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our shelter website.

Why adoption is a great option

Zander, a Heber Springs Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Heber Springs, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Heber Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Heber Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Heber Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Heber Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
