My story

Hello my name is Thor, and I am four years old. I am not a fan of other animals, so I would love to be the only pet in the home so I can give you all the love in the world! I can be a bit weary of strangers, so a slow introduction when meeting new people is a must. I love to run and play with my humans, but I have jumped fences, so I do need to have a close eye kept on me. I am looking for someone who has the patience and time to help me become the best dog I can possibly be. If you think you're the right fit, please reach out to staff at the shelter

Additional adoption info

Please call shelter for adoption pricing. HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals. It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission. It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
