Gabapentin is about $28 and Carprofen is about $87 for a month and a half worth. She also has trazodone she takes as needed (when she’s in pain or feeling grumpy) which is about $48 for a month and a half worth of pills.
Housebroken: Yes.
Crate trained: Yes - will bark when she needs to potty or hears you and wants to join in on the fun.

Good on a leash: Yes unless she sees a squirrel. Will. Chase. Squirrels.
Energy level: low.
Need a fenced in yard: she’d enjoy it but not necessary.
Dog Friendly: dog selective, not a fan of in your face dogs. Also should be fed separately - will try to steal food.
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home? Not needed - she’d enjoy all the attention.
Cat Friendly: Will. Chase. Cats.
Kid Friendly: Yes with proper supervision.
If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? 12+ she’s a big girl and very careless when she’s excited and would most likely knock a small child over. She also will not hesitate to steal a snack. Also old enough to know when she’s in pain and to give her space.
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know?
Keiko is a total meatball. Who can resist those radar ears and rolls?!?! She’s built like Bebop but with a personality like Michelangelo. She’s cute, tubby and a giant goof. What she lacks in smarts she makes up for with her personality. Her fav activity is to roll around on her back and play the game of will I need help getting back over. Never a dull moment with this girl. She also enjoys snuggling, napping, going for short walks, following her fav person around, getting loved on, enjoying a good chew on her toys and she’s the girl who can’t wait for her meal times or treats! If you take too long with breakfast or dinner she has a specific rolling bark thing she does and she will tell you about yourself. So much personality! She has also been known to steal shoes and toss them around as if they are her toy. Keiko is known to bounce around like a bull with excitement when she sees her people or meals. Keiko WILL test boundaries and will quickly try to become the boss if allowed but with structure and a daily routine she is pretty great! As mentioned before in medical issues, Keiko has arthritis in both of her back legs. She sometimes struggles to get up or move around and will occasionally limp but she doesn’t let it stop her. For those of us that dread the cold weather… the rainy damp days… we know what that means. Just like people get cranky when their joints get achy, so does she. Most of the time she’s a chill, lazy girl who loves affection. But there are days that she doesn’t feel her best. Those are the days she needs her space and needs people that understand her bad days don’t define her. People get a little short-tempered when they’re in pain and want to be left alone. Keiko is no different. We’re confident that there is a forever home out there for Keiko that can stick with her through the bad days and help her enjoy the good ones. She’s a pretty easy going girl who’s just looking for her new best friend. If you think that could be you, put in an app today!
