My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mikki is an approximately 7 month old, female 37 lb Pitbull terrier mix. Mikki and her brother Frank were given up after a family breakup in southern Indiana. They had been with the family since they were weeks old puppies. Mikki is mostly black with cute white toes and chest. She has lots of bouncy puppy energy, and she has loved running around her foster family’s fenced backyard and playing with tug toys. She appears to be very friendly and affectionate with people. This pup loves to follow her foster mom and dad around the house. Mikki can be a mouthy player and jumper, which can be redirected using toys, but because of this mouthiness she should be in a home with people over 13 years old. She is one of those dogs that will lick a person and then give a quick love nip when she is done. Mikki must go to a family that will work on curbing this behavior. So far, she is a quiet girl and has not barked although she does whine if left alone. Mikki sleeps in her crate at night without crying or accidents. She has had a few accidents in the house, so she is working on potty training. She has not been tested with children or cats yet. If you would like to meet this dog please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $225.
