My story

Pomee’s made it to the Big Apple! She’s a female Korean Jindo mix that’s 1.5 years old and weighs about 20 pounds. Pomee gave birth to her puppies on a chain in Gwangju City Gyeonggi-do, Korea. We rescued her and her puppies (BB, DD, JJ, TT) through our “Unchain Me, Korea” campaign. Her puppies have all been adopted and now it’s her turn! Pomee’s a total love-bug - she gives plenty of affection and appreciates attention from people. She’s also developing an interest in playing with toy balls! She’s making good progress with crate training and potty training too. If you’re looking for a gentle sweetheart, then look no further. Apply to adopt!

Why adoption is a great option

Pomee, a LONG ISLAND CITY Jindo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jindo for sale in LONG ISLAND CITY, or seeking a Jindo dog from a breeder in LONG ISLAND CITY.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LONG ISLAND CITY already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LONG ISLAND CITY breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jindo breeders who help with Jindo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LONG ISLAND CITY paves the way for another one to be saved.
