My story

Hi everyone.  I’m Big Boy, aka BB.

After spending many years outdoors, I am now with a wonderful foster family and loving every minute of it.  I had a dental and my last three teeth were removed. I was also given antibiotics to resolve my eye issues. I felt a lot better after that. I also discovered how wonderful human touch was and I discovered the brush… sheer drooling bliss.

I am a senior boy, quite independent, and appreciate my quiet time. If you are chilling on a recliner or sofa, I will come over especially if there are treats involved.  Hopefully, once I’m in my 'fur'ever home and feel safe, treats won’t be needed as bribery.  Just wave a brush.

By the way, treats for me are Performatrin kibble. My fosters have me mainly on wet food to bring my weight down a bit. Hence the name Big Boy. I get some kibble daily to keep my gum ridges firm. I look forward to that kibble.

I don’t have a problem with other cats and would probably do better in a home with older children.

If interested in adopting Big Boy, please visit and complete our adoption application. One of our adoption coordinators will contact you. If you have any questions, please call Rescue Angels at 647 293 6570.

More about this rescue

Rescue Angels is a 100% non profit, volunteer and foster home based cat rescue. We have a network of foster homes located within and across the GTA, Markham, Richmond Hill, and Hamilton. Our volunteers open their homes to stray, abandoned and feral cats, as well as those who are at risk of euthanasia in local high-kill facilities until the right forever home is found. Rescue Angels routinely participates with the Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) program. We maintain and manage colonies to ensure that food, water and shelter is always available. We also provide additional and emergency vet care when required. Rescue Angels is a dedicated group that works with the public to rescue cats and promote individual responsibility for animal welfare
