My story

Look at these puppy dog eyes on Daengyee! Daengyee is a 1-year-old male Spitz/Jindo mix that weighs 19 pounds. He was rescued as part of our “Unchain Me, Korea '' mission in Namyangju City Gyeonggi-do where he was kept in a small cage outdoors with his brother. Now in New York, Daengyee is doing great with crate and potty training and is super affectionate. He loves to be close to his fosters and likes to cuddle! Daengyee also has a long fox-like tail that he loves to chase! Are you the patient adopter that will help Daengyee build confidence with life in the city? Apply to adopt!

Why adoption is a great option

Daengyee, a LONG ISLAND CITY Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/Jindo dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/Jindo for sale in LONG ISLAND CITY, or seeking a Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/Jindo dog from a breeder in LONG ISLAND CITY.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LONG ISLAND CITY already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LONG ISLAND CITY breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/Jindo breeders who help with Spitz (Unknown Type, Small)/Jindo rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LONG ISLAND CITY paves the way for another one to be saved.
