My story

Shhhhh...don't tell Kiki she's blind because she won't believe you!

This energetic sweet little baby loves to play, and compensates for her sight with her hearing. She knows exactly where you've thrown the toy and will chase after it at warp speed! She loves human attention and will cuddle up in your arms, purring contently.

To say this little girl had a tough start to her life would be an understatement. Kiki was found alone on the street, sick, unstable and unable to see. We rushed her to the vet, but doctors were not able to save Kiki's little eyes.

After recuperating at her foster home, she slowly began to move around and explore her surroundings. Kiki is a very curious girl, she wants to explore everything around her and play with as many things as she can get her paws on.

Kiki needs a home that can provide a safe and stable environment, as she will need to know where everything is located and this will help her thrive in her new home.

Why adoption is a great option

Kiki, a BROOKLYN Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in BROOKLYN, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in BROOKLYN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BROOKLYN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BROOKLYN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BROOKLYN paves the way for another one to be saved.
