My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Born ~3/15/2022, M, Flame Point Siamese Manx
Adoption Fee: $300

In the litter of four kittens Pancake was all legs and all white. No round tummy for him. Every calorie had gone into his long legs.. We called him Marshmallow Fluff. As he grew his white color turned to flame point and his legs just grew and grew. What a beauty he turned into.

Manx kitties, of which he is one, have powerful hind legs which are longer than their front legs You can see on the side view of him that his back slopes down towards his head. People sometimes say Manx cats run like rabbits moving their hind feet together. Pancake has a " Stumpy " Manx tail which is longer than the tiny tail, the little Rumpy Riser, or the Rumpy tail which is no tail at all. Some Manx have a full tail and are called "Longies". It is all about dominant and recessive genes. Stumpy tails are eloquent and adorable and do not come with any elimination troubles that the other short tails occasionally have. As a flame point his tail- what there is of it- is red. His face mask and ears are developing their red color also. Blue eyes , pink nose, pink inner ears. What's not to love?

Actually this boy is so easy to love. He has been very well socialized and relaxes completely in humans hands. His brothers are Jam, a Stumpy, and Jelly, a Longy, are already posted to go home together. Pancake is a classic kitten: playful, curious, mischievous, loving. He is a long bodied, long legged, bouncing boy.
His graceful elegant body comes to him through his blue eyed Siamese heritage.

Pancake's new home needs to have playmates for him: other kittens or young cats, maybe cat friendly dogs, gentle children, humans who are home quite a lot of the time. He is a treasure and will give years and years of pleasure to some lucky family. He would be delighted to go home with his brothers Jam and Jelly. ( That is his foster mother's first choice. What a scenic trio that would be!) Sister, Peanut Butter, a Stumpy, is already spoken for.

Pancake eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect.

Pancake is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.

He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Pancake please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
