My story

Cadence is an adorable 10-week old orange tabby boy kitten who came into rescue last week. He is a real snuggle-bunny and very talkative. He loves playing with one of our other kittens, Clay, if you would like a pair of kittens but his favorite thing is human attention!

Cadence will sleep with you, read with you, and loves being held. He is playful and gets along with other cats and children and has been fostered with kids and other cats.

If you would like to add this orange baby to your family, please call Robin at 352-339-3352 (no texts, please), or you may email our rescue at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption application,

Why adoption is a great option

Cadence, a Putnam Hall Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Putnam Hall, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Putnam Hall.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Putnam Hall already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Putnam Hall breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Putnam Hall paves the way for another one to be saved.
