My story

Hey there, I'm Rose. I'm the full package being sweet, affectionate, and cuddly! I enjoy playing with toys and snuggling up in bed with my people. I am FIV positive so I would have to be the only kitty in the home. If you would like to open your heart and home to a beautiful kitty like me, schedule an appointment to come meet me!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee. Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
