My story

Meet Onyx
My name is Onyx. I was found all alone, hungry and scared at a local park. I was trapped and taken in to be fixed as a feral cat but after getting spayed, trapper realized I was very sweet and friendly. I am not feral at all. I love people and don't mind other Cats. I am looking for a forever family who will love and cherish me forever and promises never to dump me like my last family did. I am a healthy girl who is under a year old so I have many years of love to give. Will you be my family??

From her Foster Mom: Onyx. She finds places to sleep all day but as soon as dinner time rolls around she suddenly is in ur lap talking to you and rubbing her head under ur chin.

ATTENTION: Our Kittens are now available to fly out to other States. They will go in the Cabin with Volunteers. The adoption fee for this type of transport is 300.00 which includes all the Kittens will need to fly out (harness, leash, flight approved carrier, health certificate). Why adoption is a great option

Onyx, a Houston Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in Houston, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
