My story

Hi! My name is Gus and I am a very sweet 16-week old medium-hair boy kitty. I love to play hide and seek with my foster mom. I like to pick one of my favorite spots to hide until my foster mom sits down somewhere, and then I quickly sneak up onto her lap and roll over for lots of petting and belly rubs. I am a very patient boy and let my foster mom give me baths and dress me up in outfits. I especially love to play with my toys that have feathers or strings. My mom has a dog at home with us today, and I am shy around the dog, but if given time, I could acclimate to a home with a dog. I am neutered and up to date on all vaccinations
If you feel I would be a good fit with your family, please reach out to Dirty Little Paws Rescue at Dirtylittlepaws@gmail.com or fill out my adoption questionnaire. I can hardly wait to be part of your life.

Additional adoption info

Our pet adoption process is fairly straightforward as outlined above. Basically, our potential adopters can contact us regarding pets they may be interested in, or can meet our pets by coming into one of our Petsmart or Petco store locations in the Oceanside/Vista,CA area. We will discuss the pet they're interested in, have them fill out an adoption application and ask some questions around that. If we feel the pet is a fit for the adopter we will then have them complete an adoption agreement perform a home check and collect the adoption fee. We will then deliver the brand new pet to their Happy Forever Home!

Go meet their pets

Our fosters provide a loving home to many of our pets, but you can come and visit some of our furr-babies at following stores: PetCo - 3875 Mission Ave Oceanside, CA PetCo - 2445 Vista Way Oceanside, CA OR... you can always call/text us and we'll be happy to accommodate you meeting any of our kitties.

More about this rescue

Dirty Little Paws is a new non-profit rescue in Southern California. We rescue from kill shelters and from the street, manage feral colonies, and promote TNR (trap, neuter, release). Our mission is to save the lives of as many cats as possible. We respond to daily emergencies, fully vet each cat, release ferals back into their colonies, rehabilitate some, make sick cats well, hold adoption fairs, educate the public, and place a strong emphasis on sourcing donations through events & fundraisers so that this work may continue.
