My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Georgia is a southern belle that came to us from an overcrowded shelter through The Shelter Connection's rescue program. This 8 month old girl is all puppy- goofy, playful, and all around kissable. She gets along well with other dogs and we have begun her basic command training. She can be a bit jumpy and may do best with children 8+ years, unless they are used to being around bigger, excitable dogs that enjoy giving big, slobbery kisses. She would do best in an active family dedicated to continuing her puppy training. If you are interested in learning more about Georgia, please call the shelter at 516-869-6311 or you can email animalshelter@northhempsteadny.gov to request an application.

** reminder- we are currently facilitating adoptions by appointment only. If you arrive at the shelter without an appointment we will be unable to accommodate you. Thank you for understanding.

Please call the shelter (516-869-6311) during working hours (Mon. to Fri. 9AM-4PM; Sat. 10AM-4PM) for more information about this dog, the adoption process at the shelter, and to confirm availability. Please go to www.theshelterconnection.org for more information about and directions to the shelter.
