My story

Hansel and Gretel was found - DUMPED IN THE TRASH!

These poor babies came into our care emaciated and without any fur. They were suffering from a horrible case of demodex mange causing sores all over their bodies. They both also had intestinal parasites, and Hansel had even developed rickets due to the malnutrition!

With around the clock care, baths, medication and a regiment of vitamins for the rickets - both these puppies are now in the clear!

Your favorite fairy-tale puppers made it against all odds and are now looking for their forever homes!

Curious and sweet, these two would fit most households ready for a puppy. As with all puppy adoptions, we require an adult dog to already live in the household. There is no better way to help your new puppy feel safe in the world than you provide him with the comfort and guidance of an adult dog!

Please share if you can't adopt!

Included in the adoption fee of $325 is up to date vet care, vaccines and dewormer, microchip and spay or neuter surgery at our vet post adoption.

Why adoption is a great option

Hansel, a Detroit Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
