My story

Koopa is a very loving kitty!! He was bottle fed & loves people! He loves to play with toys & his siblings & foster siblings. He's seen a dog & wasn't impressed but still stayed in the same room. He's young enough to get used to another pet. And he's SO loving to people! He'd be a great addition to any home.

Go meet their pets

All our cats and kittens are housed in a group of private foster homes. As such meet n greets are by appointment. We will also have occasional adoption events at Tractor Supply. Events will be announced on our Facebook Page.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide a foster to adopt alternative for cats and kittens that have been the victims of abuse, neglect, and abandonment in Jackson County, WV. We encourage spay & neuter of all pets and strive to end animal cruelty.
Until recently, Operation Fancy Free was the only non-profit in our county dedicated to feline welfare. Previously they were running 2 programs: a TNR program and a foster to adopt program. In July 2018, it was decided they needed to cut back to just one program and closed the foster to adopt side of their operations. Several of us were involved with OFF's foster to adopt program. We recruited a few friends to join us and started our own organization to focus on the foster to adopt side of feline welfare while OFF continues to focus on TNR in our county.
