My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Active and intelligent

Riggs is an intelligent, obedient dog with a sleek athletic build. He can be anxious around new people or in new settings so he would need a home setting that would minimize stressful situations, especially at the outset.

A calm, quiet environment will allow his true affectionate and friendly nature to shine!

Our Trainer will work with the successful adopters to ensure a successful transition. Potential adopters should expect to attend up to 6 (complimentary) training classes with his Trainer.

ABOUT RIGGS:
- Small male Boxer Mix, neutered, 55 lbs
- Riggs came to EHS as an unclaimed stray
- Riggs is well trained and knows his training cues
- He enjoys the company of the people he trusts and enjoys an active lifestyle
- He can take time to warm up to strangers but does well with calm people and calm greetings
- Riggs is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinations

RIGG'S IDEAL HOME:
- Riggs needs a quiet home, with structure, routine and few visitors
- Riggs will make a great companion for a single adult or couple
- Riggs would thrive with owners who are committed to an active lifestyle - regular walks and hikes
- A detached home with direct access to a fully fenced yard in the country or quiet neighbourhood
- A family willing to work with his trainer on an ongoing basis to learn how to focus his energy, this has benefited him greatly
- No small children, cats, small dogs or other small pets in the home
