My story

Looking for an adorable companion? Please meet Reggie, a 12-year old, 5 pound Yorkie. This tiny little guy has a very big personality and acts very young. He loves to explore. But his favorite thing is to be with his people, getting loads of attention. If you’re willing, he would prefer to sleep with you at night.

Reggie is very good with cats and small dogs. He hasn’t been tested around big dogs. Reggie is house trained but will need to learn the routine in his new home. He’s a good eater but sometimes doesn’t like to eat alone. You can’t go wrong with this adorable little guy.

Reggie has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped.

You can visit at the Salt Lake PetSmart (1830 South 380 West) the third Saturday of each month from 11-3.

Why adoption is a great option

Reggie K9, a Salt Lake City Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Salt Lake City, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Salt Lake City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salt Lake City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salt Lake City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salt Lake City paves the way for another one to be saved.
