Rufus and Red Moo are brothers. The other pair in this litter are Mz Roxie and Mr Moo who will be posted soon. These four kittens received so much love from their first foster mom that they are very trusting and comfortable with people. The photo's show how they entirely relax in human arms.
Red Moo and Mr Moo, the spotted boys, have the longest hair and the long bodies and tails that show they have some heritage with Maine Coons. Red Moo has red spots on both sides of his back, a red tail and symmetrical red markings on his head. His fur is like silk. He is a dreamer, a gentle ,elegant boy. He is a lover.
Rufus is a high energy kid. The world is his toy to explore. He is busy. His red coloring is similar to Mr Moo in intensity but he has the red stripes of a tabby. His white feet and bib seem bright snowy white in contrast to the saturated red. He also has to sweetness and loving nature the world expects of these red ones.He is the goofball and troublemaker. They are a great pair.
I love cats that are variations on a color theme -I love the visual pleasure of watching them. This bonded pair also offers us the pleasure of our watching their close loving relationship together. Rufus and Red Moo have the same red fur color and they same golden eye color but one is long and elegant and and one is more of a bouncy boy with a cobby body. They are treasures.
Rufus and Red Moo are family cats. They would be good with children, good with an adult couple, good for a single person looking for entertainment and warm company. Who wouldn't enjoy them? They have never met a dog so I don't know how they would do with them. I expect with an appropriate introduction they would be fine with respectful, friendly dogs.
Some family will be so lucky to have the happy company of these two kittens.
Rufus and Red Moo eat wet and dry food and are litterbox perfect.
Red Moo is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, and microchipped.
He is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
