My story

Meet Nina- She may be little, but she's always ready for fun and play! She's super sweet and loves to jump in your lap for cuddles, but she's not afraid to be tough and take charge with her sister! She has loads of fun playing, so much so that she may need to be redirected to her toys at times. She can handle her bigger sister Katie Belle when she tries to get her food or win a game of chase. She loves dogs- she has been staying with her giant foster brother Bear, the Japanese Akita, & has even been seen walking up to him and laying down in his arms!  Like her sister Katie Belle, she knows how entertain herself. It doesn't take much to make her happy in life (ha ha even the string on my shoes gets her attention) and she's always excited to see her foster humans, she even walks up to greet us! She adores her sister they can often been seen rolling around together. These two must be adopted as a bonded pair, they would be lost without each other. She will make you laugh and melt your heart at the same time! They love the camera & they're ready to be in your family picture! They'll definitely bring joy and laughter to your home!  For more information or to meet Nina, please contact Sam at  sam77429@yahoo.com.  Thank you for considering a rescue kitten!!

Why adoption is a great option

Nina - Bonded Pair, a Antioch Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Antioch, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Antioch.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Antioch already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Antioch breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Antioch paves the way for another one to be saved.
