Here's what the humans have to say about me:
On 7/29 Walter was in the back of a pick-up truck under a tarp trapped in his kennel covered in his own feces. The owners at the time were moving to Texas and started asking anyone and everyone if they would take him. My fiance and I's heart broke and decided we could not watch him leave. We've learn that he LOVES other dogs and plays well, and does well with kids. He does have a soft mouth and he fairly polite. We are working on basic commands and leash walking which he is taking very well to and has shown absolutely NO food aggression. I believe he is a whippet/plott hound mix. He's about 1-1.5 years old, has not been neutered yet and weighs about 35lbs right now. Unfortunately, we can't keep him due to the both of us working 12 hour days it breaks my heart to leave him alone knowing all he needs is some time to run and play and be trained that we simply can not provide at this time. I know this is said a lot but he's a really good boy who deserves better than I can provide.
