My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you for your interest in adopting or fostering. Rescuing one cat won't change the world, but it will change the world for that cat.

This GORGEOUS (Pictures do not do her justice!) gal was rescued in May 2022 with her 6 kittens and accepted a 7th who was found as a single orphan without batting an eye! This powerful little Mama endured starvation, parasites and harassment before arriving with us and survived all of it! She accepted our help gratefully, purring with gratitude.

Mara has lived with dogs and other cats but seems like she might be happiest as the queen feline in a home, though she says she can be fairly flexible. She has moved around a lot to different foster homes this summer and she is ready to settle somewhere permanent now! She is so glad her days of scrounging and having litters on the streets are behind her and she is looking forward to being your beautiful best feline friend!

If you want to meet this sweet cat, please submit an application on our website: www.greenstreetrescue.org.

All our cats are fixed, tested and up-to-date on vaccines.

If you can't adopt but would like to help, fostering is always an option! Fostering one (or more) of our other irresistibly cute feline companions makes space available to save more lives. Foster application is also on our website. You can schedule a play date and meet 12 of our affectionate rescues by visiting Le Cat Cafe at 2713 W. Girard Ave . Schedule a visit today! www.lecatcafe.org
