Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We rescued Vista from a busy Houston business park approximately 4 years ago. She had been living as a "dumpster dog" for a long time and it was hard to win her trust. She was very hungry and scared, she is VERY food motivated, and her one bad trait is that she will get into ANY food that is left within her reach! We took her to the vet who dewormed her and started her on the slow heartworm kill, I am happy to say she has been heartworm free and takes a pill for prevention once a month. The vet was unable to determine her age, once she was worm free and put on some weight she went into heat! We had her fixed and microchipped, the vet now thinks she is 6-7 years old and a full-blooded wire-haired terrier with many healthy years ahead of her. Her current schedule is to walk twice a day (to poo and pee) and we also let her out in the yard several times between morning and evening walks. She eats dry dog food and oral flea preventative, loves to cuddle and be petted, a real lap dog!
