My story

Introducing Wild Thing! This delightful pup is on a mission to find a loving and cozy home. Don't let her name fool you-Wild Thing is more about playfulness and affection than being wild!

In a foster home, Wild Thing proved to be a well-mannered house guest. She's completely house-trained, appreciates her crate, and has been diligently working on her basic obedience skills. Her foster mom often described her as having sweet, expressive eyes that light up when spoken to. So, whether you're looking for a listening ear after a long day or a companion for sharing silly stories, Wild Thing is all ears!

At just 2 years old, she's still learning the ropes of being a cherished pet. Wild Thing would thrive in a home without cats and alongside family members aged 16 and older. Could you be the special someone she's been eagerly waiting for? Open your arms and home to this lovable pup and let her charm her way into your family!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
