Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Odie. Odie came to us from the Merced Shelter, when he was found as a stray. He was very fearful in his kennel, but after sometime he warmed up and allowed the staff to pet him.
Just look at that precious face. He looks like a dog that you just want to pick up and snuggle, but Odie remains very fearful of new people and its very important that you greet him very slowly and allow him to feel safe and comfortable with you, before petting. After he gets to know you, he is the most affectionate, loving little guy you will ever meet.
Odie still has a lot of puppy behavior and we are hopeful that with some training, socialization and time he will begin to trust adults and grow into a happy, confident little guy.
If you are interested in Odie, please go on our website at norcalcockerrescue.org and fill out an adoption application.
