My story

MPMR requires that all dogs in the home are up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, and spayed or neutered unless verifiable medical reasons prohibit it.

3 yr. old red Min Pin/Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, 14 lbs.

Princess was rescued along with 5 other dogs from a neglectful situation. She has proved to be quite resilient and trusting of people and is adapting well to a home environment.

Her ideal home will have a fenced yard as she is not at all comfortable on a leash and could be a flight risk. She is house trained in her foster home, though as with all dogs, we expect there may be initial accidents once adopted. She gets along with most other dogs and does okay with cats. She seems to do better with male dogs . She would probably do well with older children as well.

It does take her time to trust someone new initially, and she can be protective of her person until she is shown that person is safe. This is why we recommend having another confident dog in the home.
