My story

Born 6/23/12 Jubilee is a female Lab mix whose foster mom cannot say enough good things about her! She knows basic commands such as sit and down and takes treats very gently. She’s potty trained and uses a doggie door. Jubilee gets along with all the dogs she’s met, big and small. She hasn’t been around cats in her foster home. She is a very calm dog who walks well on a leash and does great in a car but needs help getting up as she cannot jump. Jubilee would do best in a home with no stairs, as she has arthritis. Jubilee takes daily joint medication and will need to continue with that for the remainder of her life.
We are seeking a home for her with a securely fenced yard and if there are children in the home, over the age of 8 who can be respectful of her older age.

Why adoption is a great option

Jubilee, a West Richland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in West Richland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in West Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
