My story

King is looking for a new castle to rule - could it be yours? King is a 3-year-old, neutered, male, pit bull mix, he came to the shelter as a stray on June 23rd, 2022, and weighs approximately 60lbs. King has been nothing but happy and outgoing since he got here. He is super social, he loves meeting new people, and climbing in their lap to give them kisses. King has been tolerant of other dogs at the shelter, and knows a couple basic commands. His adoption fee is just $25.00, plus a $25.00 license.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs....great!! The first step is coming in and meeting the dog in person. If you have any small children or other dogs in the household we do recommend that you bring them in for an introduction. If you are interested we would have you complete an adoption application. We do not require fenced in yards. All dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested and fully vaccinated, and the adoption fee is $125 which also includes a current dog license for Lucas County. We do adopt out of state and to other counties, but the dog would need to leave our facility with a current license. We do hold adoption events and have reduced adoption fees for specials throughout the year. Please check out our FaceBook page for events.
