My story

Spider Monkey was found a few days after his sister, Maple, was found as a solo 3-4 week old kitten underneath school bleachers. Momma cat watched nearby as children located the young kitten hiding during recess time. Momma would not come nearby. She seems to have been in the process of moving the litter, as mother's frequently do. A board member of the shelter was inside teaching and was called outside to help. She took her home to foster and brought back a trap to catch Momma. Not only was Momma caught, but other sibling kittens were found nearby too, so all were fostered together.

Spider Monkey and his 3 siblings grew up being socialized with people, other cats and dogs in the foster home too. Pleas see the last picture to see this petite boy's large feet with extra toes! He would be a great addition to a home! He is a gentle soul with a very sweet personality! He's always the first to greet you when you open the door!

Spider Monkey has since been neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV, received vaccines & a microchip. If interested in him, please call his foster Mom, Mary, at 570-204-2491 to set up an appointment to meet him in his foster home before he goes to the shelter Aug 20th. Please leave a message. If you would like to expedite the adoption process, you may fill out the Adoption Pre-Approval form on the shelter's website, nokillarc.org
