My story

Louise is a lovely 8-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever/German Shepherd mix and she's ready for a fresh start - and hoping it's with you! Louise is a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and is all about the attention! She loves pets, treats, walks and play time. And of course basking outside in the sun! Louise does well with other dogs, though can sometimes protect her food, and meal times and treats should be supervised. Louise enjoys chasing cats and will need some reminders on her manners. This gorgeous gal will likely do best with older kids who can handle her gently. If you're ready to welcome home your new best canine companion, send in an adoption application for Louise today!
