My story

Spirit (Est DOB 08/08/2012) is a beautiful, pure white cat that found herself at ARC when her owner passed away. She is a little unsure of her new surroundings but very sweet and ready to be back in the comforts of a home. Spirit is overweight and would benefit from a diet to live her healthiest life possible. Spirit is spayed but will be vaccinated, tested for FELV, FIV and microchipped before being adopted. If interested in Spirit, email Brittany at Brittany@nokillarc.org, complete a pre-approval at www.nokillarc.org or call 570-784-3669 EXT 2.

Animals are shown by appointment only at our shelter, which can be arranged by contacting Vicki Hess directly at vicki@nokill.org. Animal adoption fees vary depending on the animal. Understand that ALL animals from Animal Resource Center are spayed / neutered, up to date on vaccinations, have had blood / parasite screening and will be microchipped upon adoption. If interested in adopting an animal from Animal Resource Center after scheduling an appointment to meet them, you must fill out an application and provide a vet reference as well as two personal references. If your application is approved, we will conduct a home visit with the animal to ensure that your home and family members are a good fit for them and you! If you cannot keep your pet adopted from Animal Resource Center, you MUST return the pet to us.
