My story

Are you looking for the purrfect kitten? Well Cosmos is looking for you too! Cosmos is 4 months old and has shared her foster home with other kittens, adult cats and two little girls. She loves her play time and she loves her snuggle time. Cosmos doesn’t know that some people don’t love black cats and that it may take longer for her to find her forever family. But good things come to those who wait and Cosmos is a special girl that will make your family complete.

Cosmos is up to date with routine shots, litter box trained, altered and micro chipped

Please note that kittens need to be adopted in pairs or to a home with an existing playful kitty. If you are unable to provide this situation, please consider adopting a young or adult cat that is able to be by themselves

Why adoption is a great option

Cosmos, a Barrington Hills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Barrington Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Barrington Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Barrington Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Barrington Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Barrington Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
