My story

Age: ~2 years / Weight: 52lb

That smile says it all!😄 This is OLIVER, a 2-year-old Terrier mix, who weighs in at a whopping 52 pounds! You'd never really guess he's that hefty by looking his low rider physique but apparently, he's made of lead. And fun!

Oliver lives for toys and playing fetch -- it's his absolute happy place. He would be a great addition for a family or young couple looking for an active dog.🏞

He's has been a little hit or miss with other dogs but could do well with the right doggy match.🐶 We aren't sure how he does with cats!🐱

Do you think that you might be a good match for Oliver? Come down to the shelter during browsing hours or fill out an Adopter Profile!

Additional adoption info

In response to COVID-19, and the current social distancing rules, all of our animals are now being housed in foster homes and our adoption procedures have changed. Please read the following ADOPTION STEPS on our website for further details! **Please Note: Most of our adoptions are beginning with a foster-to-adopt period, and because of this, we are temporarily unable to consider applications from households outside the counties of: Santa Cruz, San Benito, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Monterey. If you rent, please have a copy of your lease or a letter from your landlord that states you can have a pet(s) ready. If you’re adopting a dog, introduce your future friend to any other dogs in the family (dog adoptions only).
