My story

Hi there, I'm Kara! I recently weaned my 6 puppies- now I am ready to be free of responsibility and live a life of fun! I love food, like a lot, so grabbing my attention for a training session won't be a problem with a treat bag on hand. Like most other hounds, I really enjoy the big outdoors and sniffing everything the world has to offer- maybe I can be your hiking buddy?

More about this rescue

Paws4ever is dedicated to creating and growing lifetime relationships between pets and people through adoption, education, training, and care. The Paws4ever Adoption Center is a placement partner for animals transferred from county shelters, including Orange, Chatham, Caswell, Alamance, Wake, and Durham, where the number of adoptable pets outpaces the space to house them. Our Learning Center provides the most affordable and comprehensive array of dog training in our area, and the sanctuary is also home to a 3-acre dog park. Our Legacy Care program provides peace of mind for pet owners by ensuring care for when owners are no longer able to provide that care.
