Hello, my name is Willow and I'm an adorable Scottish Fold. My foster mom says I am an active, curious, and happy girl. I love to explore my environment and, to be honest, I can be a bit silly at times. I enjoy my cat condos, tunnels, my kitty tent and chasing after ping pong balls and jumping for my wand toys. But know I can be a bit shy around humans. As I get to know you, I'm sure this will change.
As a breed, Scottish Folds are sweet and charming and pretty easy to live with and to care for. We are usually affectionate and comfortable with our family. Two things you should know about the breed. We can get arthritis in our tail area as we age and we should be on a good diet as we tend to become overweight. So interactive play is in order to keep me in good shape. And I will love you brushing my coat which is easy to care for.
I am excited to find my forever family. I was raised as an only kitty so my foster mom thinks I will be happiest as an only cat with lots of interactive with my human. I think respectful children would be ok. It might take me awhile to warm up in my new home so please be patient with me as I get to know you.
My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that's good!
I currently live with my foster family in Elk Grove.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
