My story

Radar & Ringo had the best home for the first five years of their life. Unfortunately, their parents can't take care of them anymore due to unexpected health issues, so they are back at their original foster home in Southern Idaho.
Radar & Ringo will be adopted together, we will not separate them.
They are very well behaved. They are house trained, they are good watch dogs once they claim their domain. Radar likes to be a lap dog, yes - he's a little big to be one, but he's quite gentle as he places himself on your lap. Ringo on the other hand is just fine sitting next to you, unless of course you want him on your lap. They love to go for walks and walk well together, they are good on a leash. They have very good recall, know many commands, sit, down, go to bed, come and so on.
They are used to being around adults, no kids under 14-ish. They also are good with other dogs of all sizes and cats. They are both neutered and up to date on their vaccinations. Their DNA panel showed Australian Shepherd/ Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog/ Border Collie and Boxer.
These two are the kindest, gentlest souls that will need a little time to adjust to your routines and lifestyles but they are eager to please and they just want to be part of your family joining in on new fun adventures.

Fees range between $150-$500. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
