My story

NOTE:  If you see this post, we are still taking applications.  If interested, please visit our site directly rather than going thru a search engine like PetFinder to show interest or fill out an app - they are not affiliated with us, we just post there and many other places.

Meet Ember!  Ember and her siblings are an unwanted litter born 5/24/22 from KY.  Mom is a shepherd mix on the smaller side and Dad is thought to be an australian shepherd.

Ember is the only 1 of the litter that we have that looks like this.  She has a wirey coat that, in some places, starts out dark and has white on the tips of her fur.  She's cautious about new things like just about any puppy if her siblings aren't with her but she's quick to overcome.  Ember has longer legs than most of her siblings and she's not particularly stocky.  She loves to play with all toys & particularly like treats.  So she should be very easy to treat train to get her to do anything you want.

She needs training at this point so if you are interested in making her a part of your home and have the time & patience to teach her how to be the perfect companion, visit our site (endingthesadness.org) to submit an application to be considered.

REQUIREMENTS:  Adopters must be within 2hrs driving distance, have recent dog experience, no young children please, and are home more often than not.
