My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scarlet is a very special old lady. She is estimated to be 16-18 years old, but she doesn't let that slow her down. She may move slower than she used to, but she still likes to explore new places and hang out with people. At 16lb she is also a BIG girl, which is quite unusual.
Scarlet has a few health challenges, but who doesn't at her age? She has a sway back, and some arthritis, but she eats her joint supplements well, and she still walks around and checks out new napping spots. She also has early kidney disease, for which eats a special diet and gets subcutaneous fluids, which she treats as just another calm, easy petting session. She also has a little squint with her right eye, which is not a problem at all, and gives her a special, jaunty look. She has a wonderful appetite (a bit TOO wonderful), and loves any attention she can get.
Scarlet deserves a loving, adoring family for her golden years. Her care takes an extra 10 minutes a day, and the love she has to give is a wonderful reward.
