My story

WILDER was picked up by one of our fosters long with her 2 siblings & mama. She loves everyone she meets, and is learning to accept snuggles. She is getting proper exposure to people & animals alike. She is 12 weeks old, full of spunk & fun, and ready for her forever home!

She can't wait to settle down in her new home & brighten her new family's life. She is currently in foster with several other cats, kittens, a toddler, and dogs--making for a very well-rounded kitten!

Adoption donation of $200 includes spay, microchip, fvrcp vaccine, fiv/felv neg testing, dewormers, and up to date on flea prevention. **All cats adopted from HFPR must be 100% indoor & must not be declawed in its lifetime.**

Why adoption is a great option

Kitten Wilder, a Davis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
